Abstract

The need for information and communication for humans drives the development of the internet. In a university environment, students are internet users who are sometimes unable to use it properly. Emotions are the most important thing in assessing information, leaving aside facts and data. This research aims to describe the behavior of internet users among students at the Indonesian Community Development University by using the internet according to the criteria of each student and the needs of the students. The informants in this research were six students majoring in Agrotechnology and Public Administration. From the results of interviews with six informants, there were still informants who believed that the information spread on the internet was all true. It can be concluded that by having the ability to use the internet we can become quality human beings both physically and mentally, becoming human beings who maintain values, norms and morality when using the Internet.
