Abstract

This research aims to increase the stability and bearing capacity of soil for construction on land in Baharen Village, Sidamanik District. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that describes the research variables and is supported by data obtained from the research results. The data collection method uses experimental methods. Data analysis uses statistical analysis. This research tests and describes in detail what was found in data collection. The results of this research show that: The addition of bamboo powder with a percentage of 3% to the soil of Baharen Village, Sidamanik District obtained results that passed the No.200 sieve of 43.38%, soil liquid limit = 42.40%, soil plasticity index = 8.03% and CBR value of 7.07%.
