Abstract
The heating experienced by concrete due to burning will result in fundamental changes in the properties of the concrete. Based on this, the aim of this research is to determine the description of compressive strength after burning and a model of the relationship between temperature and compressive strength of concrete. The test object used is in the form of a cube measuring 15 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm, heating is carried out in an oven at temperature 200ο C - 600ο C with an increasing interval of 50ο C. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical analysis and regression analysis. The research results show that the average compressive strength of concrete decreases with increasing temperature. Concrete that has been heated at temperatures of 200ο C, 400ο C and 600ο C, the average compressive strength respectively is 85.83%, 58.40% and 35.08% of normal concrete. The resulting regression model in the form of a linear regression equation is = -0.2802x + 248.79 with an R2 value = 0.8539. Meanwhile, the regression model is in the form of a 2nd degree polynomial regression with the equation y = 10-4 x2 – 0.3402x + 255.65 with an R2 value = 0.8576
