Abstract

This research is one of the horticultural commodities that have high economic value, eggplant is widely cultivated in Indonesia and is very popular among the people. Diseases that attack eggplant include fruit rot (Phomopsis vexans), anthracnose (Collecotrichum melongenae), fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f.sp melongenae), leaf spot (Alternaria sp.), and Cercospora spot (Cercospora sp.). The main factor determining the success of eggplant cultivation is caused by the low intensity of pest or disease attacks on cultivated eggplant plants.
