Abstract

The expected objectives of this research are: (1) to analyze the work motivation of village officials in Bawonahono Village in South Nias Regency and (b) to examine the factors that influence the work motivation of village officials in administering government. The research was carried out in two cycles where each cycle was carried out in four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and analysis. The research instrument is a questionnaire and statements from the results of each interview. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively. The results of research based on interviews and statements obtained from village officials show that the work motivation of village officials in Bawonahono Village in South Nias Regency is still very lacking, which is due to internal and external factors that are not optimal or not met.
